I have always had a weird claustrophobia since I was a very young child. Putting on shirts is sometimes traumatic as I feel like I might suffocate while I'm trying to get it over my head. When I was younger turtle necks were TOTALLY out of the question because the tight fabric around my face for those 2 seconds would make me think I was going to die. I am much better now that I am older, and I can generally put on a shirt without freaking out.
I went wedding dress shopping a few weeks ago
(if you are on my friends or subs list you got a mass message with a link to a photo of my dress. I didn't post it because I didn't want my fiance to be tempted to try to see me in the dress before the big day- October 18, 2009) and although it was a fun experience for the most part I had a few freak outs. You see, apparently wedding dresses must be put on head first, because of how big the slips underneath are. So multiple times, dress after dress, I had to put yards of fabric over my head. My childhood fears started to kick in again as I frantically tried to get through the tunnel of lace and satin to be able to breath again lol.
Thats something you don't see on
Bridezillas or
A Wedding Story lol.

My biggest fear is getting stuck in one of those dresses, and having to claw out of them. Oh, and then paying for it.
OMG!!!!!!!! YOU AND YOUR DRESS IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! <3
That dress is totally something I would pick out! Best Wishes!
your dress is absolutely stunning!!!
I saw you and your dress and I was like... THAT'S GORGEOUS! I love it, I truly do
You look fantastic in it. That's one great thing about being darker skinned - anything bright or white makes you look beautimus
I'm really happy for you! Btw, you have a gorgeous smile in that photo, too!
Haha! That's funny. I remember going wedding dress shopping too. I pretty much had to let the women in the shops see me half naked to help get the dresses on! I ended up getting my dress from ebay though. Your dress really suits you and looks beautiful hun.

Your dress is absolutely beautiful! I haven't seen many with that halter style, but it looks very elegant. And your wedding is the day after my birthday and 11 days after my 1 year wedding anniversary.
your dress is beautiful and graceful! :D congrats. :D
I've gotten stuck in a dress before! I'm not claustrophobic, but being tangled in it and unable to find a way out made me feel slightly panicked, so I can imagine what you felt. I love your dress, too! It looks good on you.
@Olyachka - lol, I can see how that could be a valid fear.

@sarahfus - @bella_esperanza - Thanks
@heidi_helen - Oh my gosh, I was totally shocked at how it was pretty much mandatory for them to be in the dressing room with you lol. I don't have too much of a problem being in my underwear in front of people from my years of changing clothes for performances, but it was definitely strange lol
