  • There is no Xanga counterculture

Some individuals like to purport that they are a part of Xanga counterculture, meaning they go against the grain of what is "normal" or mainstream on Xanga. There is no Xanga-counter culture. In order to be a part of Xanga counterculture you would have to not be on Xanga. We are all on here in the same rat race. Even if you aren't necessarily in a rush to the finish line of featured or top blogs, we're all in the same cage, spinning the same wheels. I think it makes people think they are "cool" to talk about how they aren't trying to be cool. Everyone wants to be a rebel. But you have to actually have some type of opposition to be a rebel, and in some cases, people just imagine that they have opposition lol. No one is against you, you just think they are.

And, for the love of cupcakes (and who doesn't love cupcakes?) everyone stop trying to accuse people of plagiarizing or copying your ideas! Anything you do has probably been done before, and someone will do it after you. Its very hard to reinvent the wheel, it just is. Not because no one is creative enough, but just because there are so many people, and at some point two individuals are bound to have similar ideas.

Does this seem like a rant? It isn't really

HAPPY FRIDAY XANGAMIGOS! Don't lose your marbles over Xanga!
